AM-GARD’s Distinguished
Service Award Program

AM-GARD™ employees go above and beyond the call of duty every day. The Distinguished Service Award program acknowledges and formally recognizes our employees for their contributions, exemplary performance, and continuous service.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented bi-annually. To be eligible for selection, candidates must be nominated by a company manager, a client representative, or their peers. The nominee must be an employee in good standing at the time of the award.

An evaluation committee, composed of the president, the vice president of administration, the vice president of corporate development, the senior corporate human resources manager, and one individual from operations and field service, selects the recipient from among those nominated. The president does not place an active vote but serves as the tiebreaker if needed.

The recipient is honored at a formal award ceremony, which is held at the job assignment location if possible or at the regional office.

The award includes a framed certificate, a Distinguished Service Award pin, and a cash award.

Employee Service Award
Employees are honored for their continuous service to the company following their fifth year of service and thereafter in five-year increments. Each recipient receives a customized lapel pin designating by the number of years of service. At ten and fifteen years, employees are presented with an engraved watch in addition to the lapel pin. Employees who have served twenty-five years are honored by a cash award in addition to the lapel pin.
